You simply enter your income (Yearly, Monthly or Weekly) and Deduct will automatically calculate any Tax and National Insurance figures, but advanced settings allow you to add your pension percentage, student loan plans and tax codes.
Deduct is written completely in Apples Swift development language and is fast and responsive. Unlike other Tax Calculators, Deduct is simple, easy to read and presents your deductions instantly and on-the-fly. Theres no barrage of numbers here - the app will only show you what you need to know.
We use the latest figures for the 2015-2016, 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 tax year from www.hmrc.gov.uk.
